(1) Central emergency rescue and relief committee as follows will be established at the central level for the immediate rescue of women, adolescents and children subjected to gender violence:-
(a) Joint Secretary, Ministry-Coordinator
(b) Representative (at least Deputy Secretary level), Ministry of Home Affairs - Member
(c) Senior Superintendent of Police, Directorate of Women and Children Services - Member
(d) Representative: (at least Deputy Secretary level), National Commission for Women - Member
(e) Representative (at least Deputy Secretary level), Ministry of Health and Population - Member
(f) One representative of the organization designated by the Central Immediate Rescue and Relief Committee from among the non-governmental organizations working in the field of prevention of gender-based violence - member
(g) _ Branch Head (Sexual Violence Prevention Branch), Ministry-Member-Secretary
(2) The term of office of the member under clause (f) of sub-rule (1) shall be two years.
(3) The secretariat of the committee as per sub-rule (1) shall be in the Ministry (4) The work, duties and rights of the committee as per sub-rule (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) Based on the news published or transmitted through any media or the information received, to obtain information regarding whether there is immediate rescue work at the provincial and local level in relation to such incidents,
(b) Giving necessary instructions to the provincial or local immediate rescue and relief committee (c) To facilitate and coordinate the need for immediate rescue,
(d) To prepare and implement necessary plans and programs for the immediate rescue, protection and management of women, adolescents and children subjected to gender-based violence at the federal, provincial and local levels and submit the report to the Ministry,
(e) To make public the details of the activities done every year.
(5) The expenses required for conducting and monitoring the meeting of the committee as per sub-rule (1) shall be borne by the fund.
